This is a medium-viscosity perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricating oil, which is similar in consistency to your average household hinge oil. Compared to GPL-105, the lower viscosity makes this a fairly transparent treatment suitable for all keyboard parts, providing lubrication while letting a the inherent tactile properties of a switch show through. For this reason, it's one of the only lubricants recommended for use on capacitive switch rails (in particular Topre). Krytox® is a registered trademark of The Chemours Company.
