MKID switch plate foam pad will magically alter the sound profile of your keyboard, also to reduce friction between switch and plate. Featuring a light adhesive backing (non-sticky), installation on your keyboard plate is simple and straight-forward. All foam materials are permanent anti-static; suitable for applications where long-term ESD properties are required. This foam compatible for every keyboard plate with MX hole configuration and available with some choices of material depends on your preferences :
- EVA -> plush texture
- IXPE (irradiation cross-linked polyethylene) -> firm and rigid texture
- LE-20 PORON -> soft and smooth texture
Installation Steps :
- Apply MKID switch plate foam pad onto keyboard plate (preferably to be attached with MKID straight tweezers)
- Install the switch
- Install the switch
